This informational session is intended to orient interested individuals regarding the Northern California Construction Inspectors Apprenticeship. Additionally, completion of an orientation is required for all applicants to this program.
After completing this orientation, participants will be able to…
- Explain the nature of the apprenticeship
- Identify the role of inspection in the building and construction trades
- Describe the duties of an engineering technician and its relationship to inspection work
- Evaluate the most common difficulties faced by apprentice inspectors
- Identify the steps applicants must complete to enter the apprenticeship
At the completion of this orientation, an application for this apprenticeship will be provided to participants.

- Log in to your registered Applicant
- Click the BOOK NOW If this button is not visible, the event is fully booked or registration is closed.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the RESERVE YOUR SEAT checkbox to complete your reservation (this option may be easy to miss, so look carefully).
Check Your Email for Confirmation:
- Once your reservation is complete, instructions for attending the in-person session will be automatically emailed to you.
- If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder.
- To avoid missing future communications, add the domain @teapprenticeship.org to your email’s safe sender list.
- Orientation Details & Expectations Attendance is Required:
- Reserving a seat commits you to attend. Seating is limited, and no-shows prevent others from participating.
Booking Requirements:
- Registration opens at 12:01 AM the Monday before the event and closes at 7:00 AM on the event day.
- Use the name on your photo ID when registering your Applicant account.
In-Person Session:
- The session will be held at a designated location.
- Participants must arrive on time; late arrivals will not be admitted.
Conduct:
- Be respectful and follow all instructions during the session. This ensures a professional and productive environment for everyone.
- Orientation sessions typically last about two hours but may extend as needed to cover all material.
